Introducing Birmingham Architectural Association Focus Group Leader, AB Mukadam.
A recent Part I graduate from Birmingham School of Architecture, AB is an Architectural Assistant at BRP, a Birmingham based practice that specializes in residential, commercial and sacral Architecture.
Still at the very beginning of his career, AB is slowly developing an interest in sustainable residential and community-based projects with the consideration of the modern British BAME end users. One of his main long-term interests is in exploring a modern typology of British Islamic architecture.
Beyond architectural practice, AB is the founder of 2308 – a creative initiative set up to share photographic journeys but most importantly to generate funds through the sales of printed materials, framed photographs and textiles to support vulnerable children and families who have been left helpless as a result of conflicts and natural disasters around the globe.
