Aina Comas

Introducing Birmingham Architectural Association Committee Member and Senior Interior Designer, Aina Comas.

Aina is a multidisciplinary Senior Interior Designer who is passionate about creating spaces that tell a story and create emotions.

Having worked for award-winning practices such as SBDP and Gensler, she has worked on a wide variety and scale of projects, both local and international as well as residential and commercial.

Having designed interiors for restaurants, hotels, casinos, student accommodation, retail and residential, she has specialised in designing inspirational and practical offices which revitalise the workplace for a more human-centered experience.

Aina believes that sharing knowledge and helping others to hone their skills is paramount to enhance the power of design to create a better world. This led her to become a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University (BCU) for several years and to later join the BAA committee with the aim to give back to the community and the city by spreading the joys of architecture and design. Her aim in the BAA is to blend Interior Design with the Architectural world.

Aina has been fortunate enough to be able to put her interest in property development into practice when the chance to purchase and improve a personal property in Spain arose last year.
