The BAA is looking for talented visionaries to fill key positions on the committee; including the Presidential Team, as their term draws to a close. We want to continue to shape one of the most successful RIBA branches and be the voice of the Birmingham architectural community.

Deadline for Applicants/Expression of Interest to join the BAA: Wednesday 27th October. 

If you have registed interest or have applied, we will kindly invite you to the BAA Elections Night: Wednesday 3rd November – The Holden Room, Cosy Club . 

For the elections, applicants may need to do a 2minute speech on the night or send through a video if unable to attend in person.

Voting will be through an online form through a link provided on the night.

N.B. Only the 3 Presidential roles stand for election, committee members do not need to be voted in.

 

 

About the BAA!

The BAA is the local branch of RIBA West Midlands, ran by a hardworking committee, composed of people from practices and universities across the region. Our aim is to promote, support and share knowledge through and for our community.

We are looking for new members to join our amazing team and help drive the future direction of the organisation! Committee members champion their interests and issues through workshops, events, publications and their contribution to local and national design boards.

We hold events in unique venues, with fantastic local, independent caterers and have collaborated with some of the most influential local and international architects, designers and industry leaders.

 

Our current core aims are:

• Celebration
• Climate Change

 

This voluntary role will allow students or professionals to become involved in a nationally celebrated organisation and we welcome people from all backgrounds, ages and career levels.
