Introducing Birmingham Architectural Association Creative Lead, Ben McPhee.
Ben is the Marketing and Brand Manager for Birmingham and Leeds-based, AJ100 practice, Associated Architects. He plays a crucial role in the implementation and oversight of the BAA’s visual identity, marketing strategy and communications. He is keen to widen the reach of the BAA and continue its growth, supporting all of the built environment professionals in Birmingham and the Midlands.
Following 12 years as a Graphic Designer, Ben – a Fine Art graduate, moved into Marketing and Design Management and has had a varied career across multiple sectors. He has worked in both Birmingham and London bringing an extensive background stemming from experience with national high street retailers, international property law and architecture. He has worked with numerous large-scale organisations including the RIBA, The Co-operative Group and Channel 4.
Also a photographer, Ben’s background is in architectural photography and he has a self-confessed ”mild obsession” with photographing staircases and the London Underground. You can check out his work on Instagram @benmcphee.
