Join us on Wednesday 16th September for a discussion on the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) 2041 climate change strategy plan. Our speaker will be Jackie Homan who is the Head of Environment at the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) who oversees the delivery of the climate change strategy plan.

Jackie will be giving an overview of what the WMCA is and their latest report on how ‘green’ will feature at the heart of the recovery plans to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2041. She will be explaining what the WMCA will be working towards to ensure effective delivery and how/ where you can be involved.

This is part of a series of talks hosted by the BAA in collaboration with practitioners who are notable for their sustainable approach to Practice to achieve key climate deadlines. There are already lots of groups working towards this goal in the Midlands and this will add to the conversation with the aspiration to achieve sustainable change.
