Introducing Birmingham Architectural Association Committee Member and Trainee Urban Designer, Joshua Bell.
A Trainee Urban Designer for Lovell Partnerships (a leading national partnerships housing provider, and part of the Morgan Sindall Group); qualified Electrician and Engineer; a Part I Architecture student at Birmingham City University; and a Construction Management graduate from the University of Wolverhampton.
I have a passion for housing and urban planning, specifically design-led affordable and social housing across the West Midlands and have been fortunate enough to have worked on a multitude of construction projects throughout the country over the last seven years. In 2019, I was excitingly grateful to have been a Trainee of the Year finalist at the G4C Constructing Excellence Awards.
As one of the newest members of the Birmingham Architectural Association committee, I am excited to get stuck-in with organising and participating in exceptional events within the sector, whilst learning from the like-minded individuals who have already offered so much to the industry, and to offer insight and assistance in any way I can. I am particularly looking forward to this years’ themes of collaboration and wellbeing, as well as the national context of housing policy and how we collectively work to progress current standards to offer an ultimately better and more beautiful product.
