Marina Strotz – President

Birmingham Architectural Association

Introducing Birmingham Architectural Association President and Architect, Marina Strotz.

Marina is a Project Architect at young boutique practice Intervention Architecture, recently crowned ‘Architects Practice of the Year’ Midlands property Insider Awards 2019

She has over seven years of experience delivering projects and working closely with clients at all stages from joinery connection details to airport terminal design at Birmingham-based Practices. Regardless of scale, her passion is to create great-quality, beautiful and crafted designs tailored to any budget for the end-user.

Swiss-Brummie Marina is an award-winning student and has graduated from Birmingham City University for each part of her architectural studies and has contributed to a publication on the re-introduction of steel in the Swiss construction industry.

As President, Marina is passionate alongside the BAA committee to continue promoting great architecture and design in Birmingham, championing issues and opportunities, and fostering relationships and collaboration throughout the construction industry

Other than visiting architectural delights, Marina loves going bouldering and mountain biking. For her, nothing beats being surrounded by her friends and family and going on their next (often-mad) adventures together.
