Matthew Redding

Introducing Birmingham Architectural Association Committee Member and Architect, Matthew Redding.

Matthew is an Architect who has a passion for sustainable design and low impact development. Matthew has worked on a number of educational buildings over the past six years helping schools and universities achieve quality for their end-users. Having studied at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT), he has gained an appreciation and deep understanding for bio-based construction materials and zero carbon buildings. He has given lectures on sustainability and #PassivHaus at York University and at the Grand Designs Live show at the NEC.

Matthew is involved with a number of organisations who are looking to enhance the sustainable agenda in the construction industry such as UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) and Circular Economy Club. In his spare time, you will find him tinkering/ fixing things at home or out socialising with colleagues and friends.
