Ben has been part of the BAA since it’s refresh in 2017. His role as Creative Lead sees him shaping and overseeing the organisations brand identity, marketing strategy, visual communications, and graphic design, supporting the rest of the committee and presidential team with events management and organisation.
In his time with the BAA Ben has been a founding organiser of the Built Environment Dinner, lead the Calling All Creatives art competition and spoken at numerous events.
With nearly 20 years’ experience in the Creative Industries, Ben is a Fine Art graduate with a broad background in senior design management across multiple sectors. His career spans Birmingham and London, with experience ranging from national high street retail and international property law to architecture and the built environment. He has worked with a number of large-scale organisations, including the RIBA, The Co-operative Group, and Channel 4.
Ben is an accomplished Architectural Photographer and licensed commercial drone pilot. His photographic work has been exhibited nationally, featured in the Architects Journal, RIBA Journal, Dezeen, the Guardian and more. A former finalist in the Midlands Marketing Awards, he has also been a member of the British Council for Offices NextGen.
