Proudly supporting the Architects Benevolent Society

The Birmingham Architectural Association (BAA) is proud to be supporting the Architects Benevolent Society (ABS). Helping to facilitate their fantastic work, supporting the wellbeing

of professionals and students across the built environment; in the West Midlands and

nationally. Every month the BAA, with the support of the patrons and sponsors, will make a donation

to the ABS. Encouraging others to do the same and raising awareness within the

architecture and design community. With this support, this fantastic charity is able to be

there for both them and their families if they need it.

Being able to support and make a positive difference to colleagues across the region and

country has always been at the heart of the BAA. Now more than ever, the committee is

determined to help to support the members of the wider architectural profession or their

families.

“The BAA strongly aligns with the ABS and champion all the hard work they do to support people across the West Midlands and nationally. During the current instability, we couldn’t think of a more pressing time to put our money where our mouth is and do something for our community. I am so proud to be a part of these two amazing organisations and all their efforts providing genuine aid to those in need.” –

VP Amy Francis-Smith and Committee Member Simeon Shtebunaev are proudly the two West Midlands ambassadors for the charity.

As of July 2020, the BAA have donated £4000 to Architects Benevolent Society.
