Sustainable Energy in Architecture Masterclass – July 2021

Join the University of Birmingham as they explore future energy technologies that will impact the design of your buildings

Through a series of four Zoom sessions we will explore energy systems and technologies that will transform carbon intensive projects to sustainable, low carbon alternatives. Discussions will be led by world-leading specialists and you will leave with 12 hours of CPD certification and a directory of alternative technology.

Who is this for?

Aimed at architects, architectural assistants and technologists in local* small and medium-sized architectural practices.

What will we discuss?

  • Why we must migrate from mineral-carbon fuels to solar and tide technologies
  • How that migration might impact our architecture
  • The role the architect can take in carbon reduction by design
  • What new technologies are on the market, just around the corner or in the pipe-line
  • How to integrate these new technologies in your designs

What will I gain?

  • A certificate for 12 hours of essential CPD**
  • A detailed overview of what changes are coming to your sector and how to accommodate them in future architectural designs
  • A bespoke report on the application of your new-found knowledge on one of your current design projects
  • A useful directory of alternative technologies that can help you decarbonise your future projects.
